Enable "show hidden files"
Go to Windows Explorer. Open directory
C: \ Documents and Settings \ CORPORATE \ My RecentDocuments, or;
C: \ Documents and Settings \ CORPORATE \ Recent
Description: CORPORATE is an active user name on my computer, matching the active user on your computer.
Block (highlight) all files that are on the right side, then remove(delete)
These files are only recording shortcut (erasable) without damagingyour windows.
Open directory C: \ WINDOWS \ Prefetch
Delete all files in that directory
Open directory C: \ WINDOWS \ Temp
Delete all files in that directory
Open directory C: \ Documents and Settings \ CORPORATE \Local Settings \ Temp

Delete all files in that directory
Remove the existing files in the recycle bin
